Bosch and Siemens Home Connect appliances
Home Connect appliances normally report every cycle through BSH's own cloud. A community tool borrows your one-time login to pull a local token, then talks to the oven or washer directly over the network from then on.
What it can become
What owners already do with it, easiest first.
Keep it answering if BSH's cloud has a bad day
Because the local token talks to the appliance directly, a BSH cloud hiccup, and third-party integrations have logged them, stops affecting your own automations once the local path is set up: no more "the dishwasher won't start because the Internet is down".
Get a local token for your own appliance
hcpy logs into your existing Home Connect account once through BSH's own API, then saves a token that lets every later connection go straight to the appliance over your network.
Control it from Home Assistant with no cloud round trip
homeconnect_local_hass uses the same local token to show program, door and remaining-time state in Home Assistant directly from the appliance's own websocket, not BSH's servers.
