Control it from Home Assistant with no cloud round trip
The ha-dyson integration speaks the device's local MQTT protocol directly once it has the key: fan speed, auto mode and live air quality readings, all on your own network.
Pull the local Wi-Fi key off your own machine
Older Pure Cool units print a local Wi-Fi SSID and password on a sticker under the device; current ones hand it over after a one-time login to your own MyDyson account. Either way, it's the key every tool below needs, and it never leaves your network again.
Add it to HomeKit
A Homebridge plugin exposes fan speed, oscillation and air quality to Apple's Home app over the same local protocol, no Dyson account needed once it's set up.
