A cube with no screen that plays audio only when a figure sits on top, aimed at kids. TeddyCloud keeps every figure playing from a server you run, even on a box with no internet connection at all.

Put your own podcasts on a blank figure
tonies sells blank 'Creative-Tonies' for exactly this. A sync tool converts a podcast feed to the box's audio format and pushes it to your own figure over the official cloud, no custom server needed.
Keep an older box running if tonies ever drops it
Because TeddyCloud stands in for the official cloud entirely, a Toniebox that still boots keeps playing figures regardless of what tonies does with its servers down the line.
Run the whole box from your own server
TeddyCloud replaces the official cloud with a server you host, so the Toniebox keeps playing figures with no internet, no tonies account, and content you add yourself. Setup needs your own DNS to point the box's cloud hostname at your server, and a patched certificate so the box trusts it.
